Mayland Community College

From I-40 take exit 86. Go North on NC 226.
NC 226 will merge with US 221 for awhile and then the roads diverge - you will have to make a left turn to stay on NC 226.
NC 226 becomes steep and windy; when you get to the top of the mountain make a right turn under the Blue Ridge Parkway (a stone overpass) to stay on NC 226.
When you get to US 19E turn right. There will be a sign at that intersection for Mayland Community College. Stay on US 19E about 4 miles until you see the sign for Mayland Community College on the left side of the road.
Turn into the college. Follow the road behind the buildings until you
get to the main parking lot.
The NC Information Highway room is in the Sam Phillips Building. That is
the building you just drove behind to get to the parking lot. The
Information Highway room is next to the bookstore Room P115.
