Each year the North Carolina Community College Faculty Association provides scholarships for three community college instructors (one in each region) to attend the North Carolina Great Teachers Retreat. Proceeds from sale of NCCCFA merchandise go to provide the NCGTR Scholarships.

The North Carolina Great Teachers Retreat is a time of renewal and reinvigoration when instructors have time to relax and connect with colleagues from around the state. The NCCCFA scholarships will fund instructors attending the February 2009 Retreat. Information about the 2009 NCGTR is available at: http://ngtm.net/ncgtr.htm .

The application process is very simple. Copy the information following this paragraph into a Word document, provide the information requested, and attach the application to an e-mail addressed to ncgtrscholarship@ncccfa.org .
